Protecting your TCG Mark account helps keep your profile, saved information, and order activity safe. These are the most useful security habits based on the current sign-in and notification flows in the app.
Use a strong, unique password
If you sign in with email and password, use a password that is unique to TCG Mark.
A strong password:
Is at least 8 characters long
Includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
Is not reused on any other website
The easiest way to manage strong, unique passwords is to use a password manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or the one built into your phone or browser. These tools generate and store secure passwords for you.
If you forget your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
Use Google or Apple sign-in if you prefer
TCG Mark supports Google and Apple sign-in. These options can reduce password reuse risk because you are not managing a separate TCG Mark password.
Google and Apple handle their own account security on their side
These sign-in options are also suggested by the app when normal security verification is having trouble loading
Watch out for phishing scams
Scammers sometimes try to trick people into giving up their login details or making payments outside the platform. Here is what to watch for:
Fake emails that look like they are from TCG Mark, asking you to "verify your account" or "confirm a payment." Always check that the link goes to tcgmark.com before clicking.
Urgent warnings in emails or messages, like "Your account will be closed in 24 hours." This is a pressure tactic. Real alerts from TCG Mark will not rush you like this.
Messages from other users asking you to pay them directly or through another app. All payments on TCG Mark go through our secure checkout. Never pay a seller outside the platform.
TCG Mark will never ask for your password by email, chat, or any other message.
Pay attention to security emails
TCG Mark treats important security and order emails as required communications. In the notification settings flow, login alerts, password changes, order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts are kept on and cannot be disabled.
Do not ignore messages about:
Password changes
Login alerts
Order confirmations
Shipping updates
What to do if your account is compromised
If you suspect someone has gained unauthorized access to your TCG Mark account, act quickly:
Reset your password if you use email/password sign-in
Use the same sign-in method you originally used if you are locked out
Check your email for security alerts
Contact TCG Mark support if you see account activity you do not recognize
If the sign-in page is failing security verification, the app itself suggests trying:
A different browser
Disabling ad blockers
Turning off a VPN
Using Google or Apple sign-in
