Ready to buy your first trading cards on TCG Mark? This step-by-step buyer guide walks you through the complete process, from finding a card to tracking your order after checkout.
Step 1: Find a card to buy
Tap Marketplace in the main navigation.
Select the trading card game you are interested in, such as Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, or Pokemon TCG.
Browse cards by set or use the search bar to find a specific card by name.
Tap a card to view its detail page.
On the card detail page, you will see all available listings from different sellers. Each listing shows the price, condition, finish, and seller information so you can compare options before buying.
Step 2: Add items to your cart
Find a listing you want to buy on the card detail page.
Tap Add to Cart.
You must be signed in to add items to your cart. You can add cards from multiple sellers in a single shopping session. Each seller's items are grouped into a separate package in your cart.
Step 3: Review your cart
Tap the cart icon in the top navigation to open your Cart.
Review your items, organized by seller package.
Adjust quantities or remove items as needed.
Your cart shows a breakdown of the subtotal, estimated shipping, and total for each seller package. You can also save items for later if you are not ready to buy yet.
Step 4: Check out and pay
From your cart, tap Checkout.
Confirm your shipping address and tap Continue to Payment. If you have not added an address yet, you will need to add one in your account settings first.
Enter your payment details.
Review your order total and tap Pay.
Your order total includes the item subtotal, shipping, and applicable tax. Platform fees are paid by the seller, not the buyer, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Step 5: Track your order status
After placing your order, you will see a confirmation page with your order number. You can track your order at any time:
Tap your profile icon and select Orders.
Find your order in the list.
Tap it to view details, including shipping status and tracking information.
Your order status will progress through these stages:
Status | What it means |
Pending Payment | Your payment is being processed |
Awaiting Shipment | Payment succeeded, waiting for the seller to ship |
Shipped | The seller has shipped your order |
Delivered | Your package has been delivered |
Tips for buying trading cards online
Check seller ratings — Look at the seller's trader level and reviews before buying. Higher-rated sellers have a proven track record.
Compare listings — The same card may be listed at different prices and conditions by different sellers. Take a moment to compare before adding to your cart.
Understand card conditions — Near Mint is the best condition, while Damaged is the lowest. Prices typically reflect the card's condition, so a Lightly Played copy will usually cost less than a Near Mint one.
Tracked shipping on larger orders — Orders over $25.00 automatically require tracked shipping for added security, so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Save items for later — If you are not ready to buy, use the save for later feature in your cart so you do not lose track of cards you are interested in.
