How Cart Packages Work (Multi-Seller Orders)

How TCG Mark organizes items from multiple sellers into separate packages in your cart.

Updated today

When you buy trading cards from more than one seller on TCG Mark, your cart automatically organizes items into separate packages. Each package represents one seller's items, and understanding how multi-seller orders work helps you know what to expect at checkout and delivery.

What is a cart package?

A cart package is a group of items from a single seller. If you add cards from three different sellers, your cart will show three separate packages β€” one for each seller.

Each package is handled independently for:

  • Shipping β€” Calculated separately based on the number of cards in the package

  • Tracking β€” Each package gets its own tracking number once shipped

  • Fulfillment β€” Each seller ships their own package on their own schedule

How packages appear in your cart

Your cart page shows each package as a separate section with:

  • The seller's name

  • All items from that seller with their price and condition

  • A subtotal for that package

  • The shipping cost for that package

At the bottom of your cart, you'll see the combined total across all packages, including items, shipping, and applicable sales tax.

Shipping is calculated per package

Shipping costs are calculated for each package based on the number of cards it contains. Smaller packages (1-4 cards) may ship in a plain white envelope, while larger packages use bubble mailers or USPS Ground Advantage for added protection and tracking.

The shipping method for each package is selected automatically based on the card count and package weight.

Cart optimizer for multi-seller orders

TCG Mark includes a cart optimizer that may suggest ways to reduce your total cost. If the same card is available from fewer sellers at a similar price, the optimizer can recommend consolidating your purchases to save on shipping. You can review and accept or decline these suggestions in your cart.

Checkout and delivery

You complete one checkout for your entire cart, but each seller's package is fulfilled independently. This means:

  • Each seller ships their package on their own schedule

  • Each package has its own tracking number

  • Your order may arrive in multiple shipments on different days

You can track each package separately from your Orders page.
