If you no longer want to use TCG Mark, you can request to have your account deleted. This guide explains what happens when deletion starts, what data is removed, and what records are kept for legal or financial reasons.
How to delete your TCG Mark account
To delete your account, you need to remove your sign-in account through the authentication service tied to your TCG Mark login. When that account is deleted, TCG Mark receives the deletion event and starts its account deletion workflow.
If you are unsure where to start, check your account settings and security area for account deletion options.
Once deletion is initiated, the process runs automatically in the background.
What happens when your account is deleted?
TCG Mark removes or anonymizes your data in stages.
Permanently deleted:
Your public profile (handle, bio, avatar)
Your personal profile (location, favorite games)
All saved shipping and billing addresses
Your account preferences and notification settings
Your collection lists and collection items
Your active marketplace listings
Your cart items and saved items
Your seller account and seller profile (if applicable)
Your friend connections and friend requests
Your email preferences and queued emails
Other account-linked system records that are no longer needed after deletion
Anonymized (kept for legal and tax compliance):
Your order history — Shipping addresses on past orders are redacted to "[REDACTED]" while keeping state and country for tax records.
Your member record — Your email is replaced with an anonymized placeholder, and identifying account fields are scrubbed.
Deactivated:
Your account is no longer usable for sign-in after deletion begins.
Some records tied to completed transactions, disputes, refunds, or seller orders may remain in place when they are needed for audit, compliance, or financial history, but they rely on the anonymized member record rather than active personal profile data.
Can I reactivate a deleted account?
No. Once the deletion process is complete, it cannot be reversed. All personal data is permanently removed, and your account cannot be recovered.
If you want to use TCG Mark again later, you should expect to create a new account.
How long does account deletion take?
The deletion process begins after TCG Mark receives the deletion event from your sign-in provider. The workflow is designed to run automatically, and most of the cleanup should happen quickly, although some external-service cleanup can take longer.
What about my order history and financial records?
TCG Mark retains certain transaction records for tax reporting, compliance, and financial history. Your past orders are not fully deleted, but personally identifiable shipping details are redacted or removed.
The state and country on past shipping addresses are kept for tax jurisdiction purposes only.
Should I do anything before deleting my account?
Before you request account deletion, consider the following:
Download any records you need — Once your account is deleted, you should assume you will lose access to account history and settings.
Cancel your subscription — TCG Mark attempts to cancel an active Stripe subscription during the deletion workflow, but it is still safer to cancel it yourself first.
Complete or cancel pending orders — If you have active orders as a buyer or seller, resolve them before deleting your account.
Withdraw any seller payouts — If you have a seller account with an outstanding balance, resolve that before deleting your account.
Data privacy and your rights
TCG Mark's account deletion process is designed to comply with data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA requirements. If you have questions about your data or need to make a specific data request, contact TCG Mark support.
