How to Become a Seller on TCG Mark

Complete the seller onboarding process to start listing and selling trading cards on TCG Mark.

Updated today

To sell on TCG Mark, you need to complete seller onboarding so the platform can connect your account to Stripe for payments and payouts.

Start seller onboarding

The onboarding entry point is the seller onboarding page, where you can begin the setup flow and connect your Stripe account.

The main starting action is Start Seller Onboarding. If you have already begun but have not finished, the app shows Continue Onboarding or Check Status.

What the setup process does

Seller onboarding is built around Stripe Connect. When you start, the app:

  1. Creates or reuses your seller payment account

  2. Sends you to Stripe's onboarding flow

  3. Brings you back to TCG Mark when Stripe is done

  4. Refreshes your seller account status

The onboarding screen describes the process in three steps:

  1. Create Payment Account

  2. Verify Your Identity

  3. Start Selling

Seller onboarding statuses

  • Not Started β€” You have not begun seller onboarding yet

  • Pending β€” You started the Stripe process, but it is not fully complete

  • Restricted β€” Stripe needs more information before payments can be enabled

  • Complete β€” Your account is ready and you can start listing cards

The account is treated as fully onboarded only when onboarding reaches Complete.

What makes onboarding complete

The backend marks onboarding as complete when Stripe reports that both charges and payouts are enabled. When that happens, your TCG Mark member record is also marked as seller-onboarded, which unlocks seller-only actions like creating listings and updating shipping settings.

What happens after you're approved

Once your onboarding status is Complete, the seller onboarding screen gives you a shortcut to Go to Seller Dashboard. From there, the next practical steps are:

  • Configure shipping

  • Create your first listings

  • Manage orders and payouts through the seller tools

If onboarding is still blocked

If the app shows Restricted, you are not finished yet. That means Stripe still needs more information before your account can accept payments normally. Use the action shown on the onboarding page to continue verification.
