Your seller account status tells you whether your account is verified and ready to sell trading cards on TCG Mark. Understanding each status helps you know what to do next during the seller onboarding process.
Not Started
You have not begun the seller setup process. To get started:
Tap the Sell tab.
Tap Get Started.
Complete your Stripe identity verification.
You cannot create listings or receive payments until verification is complete.
Pending
Your details have been submitted to Stripe and are being reviewed. Verification is usually instant, but it can take 1 to 2 business days in some cases.
You do not need to take any action while your status is Pending.
Complete
Your seller account is fully verified and operational. This means all three Stripe Connect capabilities are active:
chargesEnabled — Buyers can purchase your listings
payoutsEnabled — You can receive payments to your bank account
detailsSubmitted — All required information has been provided to Stripe
You are ready to create listings and start selling.
Restricted
Your account needs attention. One or more capabilities may be affected:
Charges may be disabled, meaning buyers cannot purchase your listings
Payouts may be disabled, meaning you cannot receive payments
Additional details may be required by Stripe
To resolve a restricted status, check your email for instructions from Stripe, then visit your Stripe dashboard and follow the prompts.
How to check your seller account status
Open the TCG Mark app and navigate to your seller dashboard. Your current seller account status is displayed there along with details about your account capabilities.
What determines your account capabilities
Three flags from Stripe Connect control what your seller account can do:
chargesEnabled — Whether buyers can pay for your listings
payoutsEnabled — Whether earnings can be sent to your bank account
detailsSubmitted — Whether all required information has been provided to Stripe
All three must be active for your account to reach the Complete status.
