Updated today

All sellers on TCG Mark must complete Stripe identity verification before they can list trading cards for sale or receive payments.

How to start the Stripe verification process

  1. Tap the Sell tab in the TCG Mark app.

  2. Tap Get Started.

  3. You will be redirected to Stripe to complete your identity verification.

What information Stripe asks for

During verification, Stripe may request the following:

  • Your legal name

  • Date of birth

  • Last 4 digits of your SSN (for US-based sellers)

  • Bank account details for payouts

In some cases, Stripe may also require a government-issued photo ID for additional verification.

How long does Stripe verification take?

Verification is usually instant. In some cases, Stripe may need additional time to review your information. This can take 1 to 2 business days.

Your seller account status will update automatically once Stripe completes the review.

Seller account statuses during verification

  • Not Started — You have not begun the verification process

  • Pending — Your details have been submitted and Stripe is reviewing them

  • Complete — You are fully verified and can create listings and receive payments

  • Restricted — Your account needs attention; charges or payouts may be disabled

Your data is secure with Stripe

Stripe handles all sensitive personal and financial data. TCG Mark never sees your full SSN, bank account numbers, or other sensitive information. Stripe is a PCI-certified payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide.

What to do if your account becomes restricted

  1. Check your email for a message from Stripe with details.

  2. Visit your Stripe dashboard and follow the prompts to provide the required information.

  3. Wait for Stripe to review and re-verify your account.

Once resolved, your seller account status will update to Complete automatically.
