Reporting Inappropriate Messages

How to report inappropriate messages, what counts as a violation, and how to block users on TCG Mark.

Updated today

If you receive an inappropriate message on TCG Mark, you can report it directly from the conversation. TCG Mark reviews every report to keep the marketplace safe.

What counts as an inappropriate message

  • Harassment, bullying, or threats

  • Spam or unsolicited advertisements

  • Scam attempts or phishing links

  • Offensive or abusive language

  • Requests to complete transactions off-platform

How to report a message

  1. Open the conversation that contains the message.

  2. Find the specific message that violates the guidelines.

  3. Tap the report option on the message.

  4. Follow the prompts to submit your report.

What happens after you report

The TCG Mark team reviews every report. The offending user may receive a warning, have messaging privileges restricted, be temporarily suspended, or be permanently banned.

How to block a user

You can block a user from their profile page. Blocking prevents them from sending you messages and hides your profile from them. To unblock, return to their profile and reverse the action.

Tips for handling inappropriate messages

  • Do not delete the conversation before reporting β€” the message history is needed for review

  • Do not engage β€” report and block instead of responding

  • Save screenshots if needed

  • Keep personal information private β€” never share phone numbers, email, or payment details in chat
